Borussia Dortmund bosses are convinced that Jurgen Klopp will one day return to the club as an employee.
The former Liverpool manager recently returned to Dortmund and played a coaching role when Lukasz Piszczek and Jakub Blaszczykowski were honoured in a farewell match at Signal Iduna Park. BVB sporting director Sebastian Kehl is certain that the man who gave the club its last league title will return in an official role at a later date.
Klopp back to basics?
“I think he will come back”Kehl told Sky Deutschland. “I don’t know in what role, but I think he will come back at some point.”
Nuri Sahin replaced Edin Terzic as Dortmund’s manager at the start of the season. Dortmund have seven points after three games and are second in the Bundesliga. As for the manager’s position, it is therefore unlikely that Klopp will be back in charge. At least, not in the short term.
