Sacha Boey has just suffered a torn meniscus in his left knee. The French right-back was injured in training with Bayern Munich this Sunday, in preparation for the Champions League match against Dinamo Zagreb. The former Rennes player has already undergone successful surgery and while no date has been revealed regarding his return, he will miss several weeks/months of competition.
“ Sacha Boey has a torn meniscus and will be out for several weeks. Get well soon, Sacha! ” wrote the Bavarian club on its X account in support of its player. Bad news for the former Galatasaray defender who seemed to have finally found his place at Bayern Munich after six complicated first seasons.
