It was the big Ligue 1 news of the evening: the agreement in principle reached between Olympique de Marseille and Adrien Rabiot, and the signing for two years of the French international (subject to a medical examination).
The bomb fell during the match between Lens and Lyon (0-0) on Sunday evening, and it was after the final whistle that Pierre Sage, the OL coach, learned the news.
“I was the first to be surprised”confided Pierre Sage on DAZN, upon hearing Smaïl Bouabdellah mention the arrival of Rabiot from OM.

The journalist summed up the situation to the Lyon coach by noting that Rabiot had arrived in Marseille at just the right time,
