FC Nantes suffered their first defeat of the season against Reims (1-2), while Toulouse claimed their first victory at the expense of Le Havre (2-0).

FC Nantes’ good run is coming to an end. After taking seven points in the first three days, the Canaries lost this Sunday against Stade de Reims (2-1).

After Douglas Augusto opened the scoring (28th) and Marshall Munetsi equalised (34th), Antoine Kombouaré’s men dominated the second half but they came up against Reims goalkeeper Yehvann Diouf (and claimed two penalties, in vain). It was finally Keito Nakamura who gave the victory to the Champenois in added time (90th+1).

Strasbourg hanging on

At the same time, Toulouse secured their first win of the season by beating Le Havre (2-0). TFC made the difference in the second half, thanks to their joker Shavy Babicka (70th) and a nice strike from Yann Gboho (86th).

Finally, Strasbourg failed to secure a second win in two matches at the Meinau. Racing were held to a 1-1 draw by Angers, despite Sebastian Nanasi opening the scoring (31st). It was Bamba Dieng (62nd) who gave SCO the point in the draw.
