Vinicius Jr’s disappointing performances with the Auriverde jersey on his back are starting to annoy his compatriots. Former Brazilian international Djalminha has spoken out on the subject, indicating that the game of the five-time world champions does not really favour the Merengue star.
Ancelotti gets annoyed
Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid’s coach, also shares this opinion. In a press conference on Friday, the Italian coach indicated that it was very difficult for his protégé to get the most out of his qualities with his national team. “No one should forget that Vinicius helped us win two Champions Leagues. Brazil’s problem is not an individual problem, it is rather a general problem, a team problem. Brazil is not playing badly because Vinicius is not showing his usual Real Madrid level!
With these statements, Ancelotti is not going to endear himself to Brazil. He has already made many enemies by refusing the position of coach, after having long given hope to the Carioca fans.
