Cristiano Ronaldo has defended his record during his second spell at Manchester United.

Al Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo has said he has no regrets about his second spell at Manchester United (from 2021 to 2022).

Despite his controversial departure, Ronaldo is happy to have had his second spell at Old Trafford. “When I came back to Manchester United I was very happy. I was one of the top scorers”he said on Rio Ferdinand’s podcast.

CR7 also boldly defended his record with the Red Devils, responding to the criticism that has marred his comeback in the north-west of England. “I’ve done incredible things with the club. In my first season, I was the third top scorer in the league with 37 goals (only surpassed by Mohamed Salah and Heung-min Son). I scored in every group game. I score in every game, even in the league. I scored 17 or 18 goals.”

The Portuguese legend therefore throws nothing away from his Manchester adventure. Nothing or almost nothing. The only thing he didn’t like was his collaboration with Erik Ten Hag. The two men parted on very bad terms.
