LaLiga has just revealed, this Thursday, the new salary limits for the elite and second division teams. With 754.89 million euros, Real Madrid remains the most financially powerful team. FC Barcelona goes from 380 million euros to a limit of 426 million euros. Atlético also suffers an increase which reaches 310 million euros. For Sevilla, the situation is extremely difficult since the Andalusian club is at 2.5 million euros of salary cap.

These limits define the expenses that these teams can make in terms of salaries for players, in addition to signings for their arrival, the coach, assistant coach and physical trainer (eligible team), as well as for the reserve team, the youth academy and other sections of the club. It is determined based on the gap between the income (television rights, advertising, ticketing, etc.) that each club obtains and the structural costs with the repayment of the debt planned for the season.
