It’s a new career that is opening up for Franck Ribéry, even if the former emblematic player of Bayern Munich will obviously continue to be immersed in the world of football.

In October 2022, Franck Ribéry ended his professional football career. Due to recurring knee pain, the French international was unable to complete his contract with Salernitana.

Nearly two years later, the Boulogne-sur-Mer native has just obtained his UEFA “A” license at the Italian technical center of Coverciano, near Florence. This is equivalent to the second highest-ranking position in the coaching profession. To obtain this precious sesame, the former emblematic Bayern Munich player followed a 192-hour training course with the Italian National Technical Directorate.

As soon as his playing career ended, Ribéry joined the Salernitana management team, becoming assistant to Paulo Sousa and then Filippo Inzaghi. Now aged 41, the man with 81 caps under the rooster jersey sees a new career opening up to him.
