Kylian Mbappé is no longer a PSG employee, having joined Real Madrid during the previous transfer window. But that doesn’t stop him from still being in conflict with the Parisian board.
The French star is demanding several unpaid salaries and bonuses from his former employer. Dues that amount to several tens of millions of euros (€55M). The other party, however, does not see it that way, and believes that it owes nothing to its former partner.
Mbappé doesn’t move an iota
Before the matter was brought to court, the LFP was called upon to settle the dispute. The committee of the body requested mediation to see if there was a way to reach an agreement without resorting to a possible trial, which would cost a lot of money for each side. PSG is in favour of this idea, but not the player.
In a statement sent to AFP, Mbappé made it known that he totally rejected the solution of mediation. He does not want a consensus and demands, through his lawyer, that the entire amount requested be paid to him quickly. The Bondy player therefore does not plan to give Nasser Al-Khelaifi any gifts. A position that risks seriously annoying the latter.
