John Textor has big ambitions for his Olympique Lyonnais. Present at a press conference this Wednesday, the American declared that he wanted to play for the title. “You can have a great season without achieving your goals. You can strengthen the goal, grow together with great prospects for the future. But if you don’t win the championship, I think it’s a failure.”said the 58-year-old businessman.

For Textor, the double confrontation against the reigning champion is essential. Beating Paris Saint-Germain in the championship this season is one of the objectives set by the president of the Eagle group. “There are two games against PSG, we have to win at least one of those games. They have a good team, but we want to finish at the top of the table. If we are not in the Champions League at the end of the season, it is a failure”the Missouri native insisted.
