The sad news has knocked out the entire world of French football. The famous sports journalist Didier Roustan left us last night, after a battle with illness. Since then, tributes from the media and various football players have been pouring in, such as that of national coach Didier Deschamps.

Didier loved the game and the players, the stadiums and their atmospheres. I remember our discussions when he worked for the Olympique de Marseille channel, where I was the coach at the time.
