Busy day for French football and the Professional Football League (LFP). While the leaders of the French clubs in Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 held interviews and other general meetings on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 to vote in the elections for the new president of the league, the board of directors also had to find its seven new members. If Vincent Labrune was re-elected with 85.67%, the General Meeting also proceeded with the election of the new Board of Directors of the LFP.

With 99%, Pablo Longoria, president of Olympique de Marseille, is the one who collected the most votes. Next come Olivier Létang of LOSC and Nasser al-Khelaïfi of Paris Saint-Germaint with respectively 93.03% and 92.04% of the vote. The new board of directors is completed by Jean-Pierre Rivière of OGC Nice, Damien Comolli of Toulouse, Juan Sartrori of AS Monaco and Jean-Pierre Caillot of Reims. These seven new wise men will work with Vincent Labrune, recently re-elected.
