The French team will face Belgium this Monday evening for its second outing in the Nations League. Three days after the defeat conceded against Italy (1-3) at the Parc, Didier Deschamps has decided to make strong choices for his starting eleven.
Mbappé pays the price?
The French coach has notably taken the decision to do without Kylian Mbappé. Author of a missed match against the Squadra, the Bondynois is invited to sit back on the bench. Did Mike Maignan’s strong words influence DD? More than a sanction, it would above all be a desire of the coach to rotate and see other players at work, like Marcus Thuram.
Mbappé and Deschamps, the end of the enchanted parenthesis?
Mbappé is not the only executive who will have to give up his place in the starting team. Antoine Griezmann will also start as a substitute, in favor of Randal Kolo Muani. This was already supposed to be the case against the Transalpines, before the Parisian fell ill.
