Having been promoted to star presenter of DAZN for Ligue 1 matches, Paul de Saint-Sernin then resumed his role as columnist in Quel Jeux! during the Paralympic Games on France 2 until this Saturday. The comedian will soon be back on the pitches of the French championship.

Paul de Saint-Sernin has been busy in recent months. “Recruited” by Léa Salamé in September 2022 to tackle the show’s guests What a time! (while sitting in the audience), every Saturday evening on France 2, the 32-year-old comedian was promoted to columnist on the set of What games!the talk show presented by Léa Salamé and Laurent Luyat for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, still on France 2, from July 27 to August 10. Saint-Sernin disrupted in his own way his colleagues and the interviews of the athletes invited to the air live.

But Paul de Saint Sernin has also become one of DAZN’s new headliners for Ligue 1 matches. For the very first French league match broadcast by the British media, on August 16, for Le Havre-PSG, Paul de Saint Sernin was not only a “field man”, he was clearly the number 1 presenter of the broadcast ahead of Smaïl Bouabdellah. It was Saint Sernin who took the lead lead
during the presentation of the match from the pitch at the Stade Océane. He continued with the clash on Sunday evening between Stade Rennais and Olympique Lyonnais.

Saint Sernin soon to return to Ligue 1

Paul de Saint Sernin suddenly disappeared from the matches broadcast by DAZN during the second weekend of Ligue 1 and for good reason, he prepared the return of What games! for the Paralympics, which resumed on August 29. Nine days later, Léa Salama, Laurent Luyat and Matthieu Lartot, with Paul de Saint Sernin, honored their last Saturday evening, with notably Rémy Boullé (bronze medalist in kayaking), Émeline Pierre (bronze medalist in 100 m backstroke) and the French blind football team, which had just won the Olympic title against Argentina.

Léa Salama has made an appointment in two weeks for a new season of What a time!. The star presenter will be reunited with Christophe Dechavanne, Philippe Caverivière and probably Paul de Saint Sernin. The young comedian, who launched his show, will only officiate during the major Ligue 1 matches on DAZN, as he specified to RMC last month. It remains to be seen whether the former journalist (he was a TV presenter on Infosport+ and I-Télé) will resume his show on the pitch next week. On the programme on DAZN: Saint-Etienne-Lille on Friday, PSG-Brest on Saturday evening and RC Lens-OL to close on Sunday. Otherwise, it will certainly be for the following week and the Olimpico planned at the Groupama Stadium.
