Lee Carsley’s first XI for England is known for a trip to Ireland, with Jack Grealish and Anthony Gordon making their debuts.

A new coach (Lee Carsley), albeit interim, a new system (a 4-3-3) and five players who were not in the starting eleven against Spain in the Euro 2024 final.

England will be a different team for their first official Nations League match since Gareth Southgate’s departure. The Three Lions face Ireland this Saturday at 6pm in Dublin and the team line-ups have been released.

Among the new arrivals, we will note the presence of Jack Grealish from the start, while the Mancunian was not present at the Euro. Anthony Gordon, the Newcastle attacking midfielder, is also in the starting line-up, as are Trent Alexander-Walker, Harry Maguire and Levi Colwill.

England XI: Pickford – Alexander-Walker, Guehi, Maguire, Colwill – Mainoo, Rice, Grealish – Saka, Kane, Gordon.
The Irish eleven: Kelleher – Coleman, Collins, O’Shea, Brady – Doherty, Molumby, Smallbone, Szmodics – Ogbene, Idah.
