This summer, Manchester City have been rather reasonable during the transfer window. The Skyblues have recruited little and they have sold quite a lot, they have notably collected a big check thanks to the sale of Julian Alvarez to Atlético de Madrid. Despite everything, the residents of the Etihad Stadium are scrutinizing the market, always looking for a good deal. They have also checked off a name for one of the next transfer markets.

Indeed, The Sun reveals that they are very interested in Marc Guéhi, who stayed at Crystal Palace despite several offers from Newcastle this summer. The English media adds that the English intend to go on the offensive next summer or at the latest in 2026, once the player is at the end of his contract. But it is more likely that it will be next summer since the Eagles want to recover money. The Daily Mail specifies, for his part, that Guéhi’s idea is not to extend his contract and to be free in two years. City has received the message!
