Benjamin Mendy found not guilty of rape and attempted rape

Last November, the English press revealed that Benjamin Mendy had filed a complaint against his former club to recover old unpaid wages. He targeted the period between September 2021 and June 2023, the end date of his contract with the Skyblues.

Obviously, this was linked to his absence from the field, from August 2021, due to accusations of rape, attempted rape and assault on seven women between October 2018 and August 2021. He was finally found not guilty in July 2023. According to SkysportsManchester City will have to answer to its former player in court next October.
