This Tuesday evening, the Marseillais are said to have accepted an offer of 4 million euros from Lyon for their French international midfielder, who has become undesirable in the Phocaean city.
The transfer fee could be accompanied by bonuses: an additional million if the Gones reach the C1 during the two years of the former Romain’s contract; another million if OL becomes French champion in the meantime.
Jordan Veretout, for his part, had already reached a contractual agreement with the Rhone club, agreeing according to the sports daily to a 30% reduction in his emoluments. A salary that OM, approached on the matter, will not supplement.
