If Kylian Mbappé left Paris Saint-Germain this summer, the capital club can count on a rising star in French football to fill this departure.

Nature abhors a vacuum. Supporters of the
Paris Saint-Germain have been able to realize this since the curtain rose for this 2024-25 season. While Kylian Mbappé has packed his bags to open a new chapter in his career, the reigning champion is relying on an offensive strike force that is still as impressive as ever.

Paris has indeed scored 13 goals in 3 short Ligue 1 matches. And one man personifies this power in attack: Bradley Barcola. Fast, punchy and increasingly realistic in the final move, the young French international continues his progression.

“He has the ability to compensate for Kylian’s departure, even if Kylian is an exceptional player”

Bradley Barcola’s trajectory does not surprise the players who have worked alongside him. Among his former teammates is notably Karl Toko Ekambi. Today at Al-Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia, the Cameroonian striker believes that the young 22-year-old winger can really follow in Kylian Mbappé’s footsteps.

“He has the ability to compensate for Kylian’s departure, even if Kylian is an exceptional player, Toko Ekambi said in comments given to L’Equipe. Bradley is always very calm. He devours the pressure, he doesn’t take himself too seriously. I always said and thought that he would reach the highest level. He will be a regular in the French team in the future, I am convinced of it.”
