Jose Mourinho is planning more reinforcements for his Turkish team Fenerbahce. The coach is aiming to get his hands on Chelsea defender Ben Chilwell.
The British daily The Telegraph claims that Chelsea are willing to let their England international go on loan, even though they would have preferred to sell him. A solution that suits the Turkish giant. Chilwell is under contract with Chelsea until the summer of 2027.
Mourinho dreams big for Fenerbahçe
Fenerbahce are optimistic that a deal for the full-back will be finalised before the summer transfer window in Turkey closes on 13 September. Over the summer, the Istanbul side lost left-back Ferdi Kadioglu, 24, to Brighton. Hence the idea of getting Chilwell back.
As a reminder, Fenerbahçe will be among OL’s opponents during the regular phase of the Europa League.
