This Premier League Sunday offered us two duels between members of last season’s TOP 10. On one side, Chelsea, who beat Wolverhampton a week ago (2-6), were this time unable to get the upper hand over Crystal Palace (1-1). Despite being well launched by a goal from Nicolas Jackson (1-0, 25th), well found by Cole Palmer in the first half, the Blues were finally caught by a superb strike from Eberechi Eze before the hour mark (1-1, 54th). They have 4 points after 3 days.

At the same time, Newcastle beat Tottenham (2-1), even though the outcome of the match was uncertain for a long time. Harvey Barnes had broken the deadlock for the Magpies with a superb service from Kelly (1-0, 37th), before Dan Burn scored an own goal in the second half (56th, 1-1). It was not until Alexander Isak emerged and scored his first goal of the season at the end of the match that Newcastle confirmed their victory (78th, 2-1). It should be noted that this match also marked the return of Sandro Tonali, back on the pitch after a 316-day suspension, and widely acclaimed by St. James Park.
