Like Adrien Rabiot or Anthony Martial, Memphis Depay is one of those luxury free agents who did not find a landing point during the transfer window. But, being free, clubs interested in their services can still enlist and register them. Great potential reinforcements for good clubs from the Old Continent, even if they are players with fairly high financial demands.
The Dutchman, who notably trained in the city of Monaco during the summer, has thus been coveted by several clubs this summer. Recently, there was even talk of an interest from Rayo Vallecano for his services, after having already struck a big blow with James Rodriguez, also free. And now another Liga team has positioned itself.
Back in La Liga
Indeed, as several Spanish media outlets indicate, including Sports Stadiuma specialist in Sevilla FC news, the Liga club could go on the attack quickly. He is the player chosen by the management to replace Lucas Ocampos, who should join Rayados de Monterrey in Mexico, where the transfer window is still open. And the departure of the Argentinian and former Olympique de Marseille player is about to be concluded.
The media also specifies that Depay is waiting for Sevilla and that this is partly why he has not signed with another club in recent days. The player is attracted by the idea of playing in Sevilla, which has however had a bad start to its Liga season with two draws and one defeat in three games.
