It was in the pipeline and it is now official. Announced as leaving for several weeks and not in Luis Enrique’s plans, Carlos Soler has set sail and left Paris Saint-Germain.

The Spanish midfielder is on loan to the English club West Ham, which has strengthened its squad this summer. A loan that is nevertheless not accompanied by a purchase option, to everyone’s surprise, while the Parisian leaders absolutely wanted to get rid of the player.

The former Valencia FC player should therefore make his return to the red and blue squad next summer, with whom he has a contract until June 2027. The 27-year-old becomes the ninth arrival of an exciting summer transfer window, joining from French champions Paris Saint-Germain on a deal until the end of the 2024-25 season.” reacted the London club on social networks.

A market value of 20 million euros

Having joined the PSG squad in the summer of 2022, Carlos Soler has never established himself at the club and has very often disappointed its leaders but also its supporters. The divorce between the different parties was therefore inevitable and logical.

A final sale should be concluded next summer unless there are surprises and a turnaround. Currently its market value reaches 20 million euros according to the site
Transfermarkt. An amount that was almost spent by the English club before the deal finally ended in a loan without an option to buy. See you next summer.
