With less than four days to go until the end of the summer transfer window, all the clubs in Europe are ready to receive or send final offers to refine their respective squads. In France, Paris Saint-Germain is preparing to be attacked from all sides, particularly regarding its undesirables. While Milan Skrniar is in advanced negotiations with the Saudi club Al Nassr, another player is on the way out and his name is Nordi Mukiele. While he was very little used by Luis Enrique last season, the marriage seems to have never taken between the French player and the Spanish coach.

In terms of departures, the Parisian club is about to complete the sale of Manuel Ugarte to Manchester United as well as Hugo Ekitiké. Not to mention the many players already sent on loan: Gabriel Moscardo to Reims, Cher Ndour to Besiktas, Lucas Lavallée to Aubagne, Renato Sanches to Benfica, Noha Lemina to Annecy, while Ilyes Housni will strengthen the ranks of Le Havre. Many players at the end of their contracts have also packed up and left, including Keylor Navas, Sergio Rico, Alexandre Letellier, Layvin Kurzawa, Edouard Michut and of course Kylian Mbappé.

Bayer has wooed Mukiele

As revealed exclusively by our colleagues at The TeamNordi Mukiele is leaving for Bayer Leverkusen. And according to our information, the transaction is well and truly advanced between the French defender and the German club. His departure will take the form of a loan without an option to buy. The former Leipzig player was seduced by Xabi Alonso’s project and decided to choose the Bundesliga player, while an offer existed – notably from Italy, from a top 5 club more precisely.

The discussions between Mukiele and the Spanish coach have been fruitful in recent days. Indeed, Xabi Alonso would like to use the Montreuil native in different positions and in various roles. Nordi Mukiele is expected in Leverkusen tomorrow to undergo the traditional medical examinations before finalizing the final details. Two years after his departure from RB Leipzig, Mukiele will therefore sign his big return to the Bundesliga, a championship he knows well and where he has performed. Another departure is therefore confirmed for PSG.
