A trail is closing for Olympique de Marseille. Since the Phocéens are never short of ideas when it comes to recruitment, Pablo Longoria’s club had explored the Yacine Adli trail in recent hours.
The former Bordeaux player is coming off a 24-match season with AC Milan (1 goal, 2 assists), but he clearly doesn’t fit into the plans of the new Rossoneri coach, Pablo Fonseca. OM was one of the clubs interested in his profile, and the 24-year-old midfielder was attracted by the Olympian project, according to the Italian press. But the player trained at PSG should take another direction.
Adli heading to Florence
According to L’Equipe, Yacine Adli is indeed about to sign with Fiorentina. An agreement has been reached with AC Milan, and the player should travel to Florence this Tuesday evening to undergo his medical. It would be a loan with an option to buy.
Now 24, Yacine Adli was bought for nearly €9 million by AC Milan in 2021, while he was playing for Girondins de Bordeaux. His contract with the Lombard club currently runs until 2026.
