Endrick scored his first goal for Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu on Sunday. Unlike Kylian Mbappé, the Brazilian phenomenon had a successful debut in the Madrid club’s home ground. Scoring at the end of added time (90+6′) with a sharp strike at the near post, the 18-year-old forward could not hide his emotion after the match. “I am very happy, it is a dream come true. I had already played here at the Bernabéu with the Brazilian national team, I had managed to score a goal… but it was not with Real Madrid. Today was my first with Real Madrid, I am speechless, I can only thank God for everything that is happening to me.”he said on the microphone of Real Madrid TV.

That first goal was supposed to be just the beginning of Endrick’s story with Real Madrid. The Brazilian, however, took the time to appreciate the achievement. “I think we are all happy, we played here in front of our families. We won 3-0, I had my family here and they know how much I worked and suffered. They suffered too. People were criticising me and my family too, my girlfriend too. We have all been through a lot and to live this moment is wonderful”. The youngest scorer in the history of the Brazilian championship (16 years and 98 days), was announced as being out of Carlo Ancelotti’s plans before the match against Valladolid, his high-class goal could perhaps shake things up…
