Stade Rennais loans Bertuğ Yildirim to Getafe

One season and then he’s gone. Courted by Fenerbahçe and then Norwich, who he almost joined, Bertuğ Yildirim (22 years old) finally heads to Spain. The striker is loaned to Getafe for a season by Stade Rennais.

Recruited by Florian Maurice a year ago for €5.4 million from Hatayspor, the Turkish striker has never managed to impose himself, or even score in 21 Ligue 1 matches (1 small goal in 28 matches in all competitions). He will try to relaunch himself in La Liga.
