It’s the weekend of the Bundesliga restart in Germany. This Saturday, many German teams launched their season in the championship. This was the case of Borussia Dortmund who hosted Eintracht Frankfurt this Saturday at the end of the afternoon. With two recruits in its eleven, BVB was keen to start the season in the best possible way against Dino Toppmöller’s gang, always difficult to maneuver. In the first half, the latter lived up to its reputation. Indeed, very organized, Eintracht was not put in that much danger against the dominating Marsupials.

After the break, Borussia Dortmund continued to dominate the game outrageously. However, faced with a lack of clear-cut opportunities to capitalize on this technical supremacy, the solution came from a flash of genius from Jamie Bynoe-Gittens. After a double leg pass, the Englishman cut back into the middle to deceive Kevin Trapp with a curling shot (1-0, 73rd). Definitely on a good day, the winger even scored twice at the end of the match with a subtle left-footed strike (2-0, 90+3rd). A successful debut for Nuri Şahin on the bench at Signal Iduna Park.
