The second day of Ligue 1 begins this Friday with Paris Saint-Germain hosting Montpellier (kick-off 8:45 p.m., a match to follow live on our site). After a success in the opening of the championship in Le Havre (4-1), PSG wants to follow up against MHSC who started with a draw at home against Strasbourg (1-1), last Sunday. Héraultais who also remain on eight defeats in a row at the Parc des Princes.

For this match, Luis Enrique has to deal with the long-term absences of Hernandez and Kimpembe and the newcomer of Gonçalo Ramos, while Danilo, Soler and Ugarte are sidelined. He lines up what looks like the typical defense this season with Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho and Nuno Mendes. Joao Neves starts in midfield with Vitinha and Zaire-Emery. Up front, Asensio will play as a false nine with Dembélé and Barcola at his sides.

On the Montpellier side, Michel Der Zakarian is deprived of a host of players (Davin, Fayad, Jullien, Saint-Luce, Sylla) but he has the return of Wahbi Khazri, who starts up front with Nordin in a 5-3-2. Al-Tamari and Adams are on the bench at kick-off. Kouyaté joins the defense with Omeragic and Sagnan while Tchato and Sacko will be the pistons. In midfield, Chotard, Ferri and Savanier are present.
