PSG, a big flop is confirmed

Although physically fit, Milan Skriniar is not included in the PSG squad for the reception of Montpellier. A choice by Luis Enrique that speaks volumes.

Luis Enrique certainly doesn’t mince his words. In the squad selected to face Montpellier this Friday night at the Parc des Princes, the Spanish coach has once again dispensed with players who could leave PSG by the end of the transfer window: Danilo, Manuel Ugarte and Nordi Mukiele (already absent at Le Havre), and now Carlos Saler.

To this list of absentees, we must now add Milan Skriniar. The Slovakian defender is not injured (the players affected are Gonçalo Ramos, Lucas Hernandez and Presnel Kimpembe), but his exclusion is a choice of Luis Enrique. Skriniar, a real flop

Clearly, Milan Skriniar does not fit into Luis Enrique’s plans, who therefore prefers Marquinhos, Lucas Beraldo and the new recruit William Pacho. It is a real snub for a player who was supposed to bring added value to the Parisian defense. PSG were ready to spend 70 million euros on the former Inter player, who finally arrived free in 2023, with a nice salary to boot. And a contract that runs until 2028…
