RC Lens executive Kevin Danso is getting closer to a move to AS Roma.

From Blood and Gold to the Giallorossi… Kevin Danso may have played his last match at Bollaert on Thursday evening, with RC Lens, against Panathinaikos in the Conference League.

The Austrian defender is in the sights of AS Roma, and has reportedly given his agreement to the Italian leaders. Meanwhile, an agreement is about to be reached between the two clubs, according to RMC. A transfer worth more than 20 million euros is hoped for by the Artois club.

Danso’s departure should encourage RC Lens to recruit an additional central defender. In the meantime, Lens’ ninth arrival of the summer was announced this Friday with the loan of striker Martin Satriano (Inter Milan), who played for Brest last season.

“It is with great pleasure that we welcome Martin Satriano into our ranks, explains general manager Pierre Dréossi. Very early in his young career, Martin revealed himself as a promising striker in Uruguay. This allowed him to join Inter Milan and continue his development in contact with one of the most successful squads in Europe. Martin is a hard worker who has had convincing experiences in France and Italy to confirm his qualities. This proves his great strength of character. Skillful in front of goal, generous in his effort and deeply focused on the team, Martin has the profile to fit perfectly with the club’s DNA.
