Last year, Iliman Ndiaye did everything he could to join his favorite club, Olympique de Marseille. But the Senegalese player had his ups and downs in the Phocaean city. After only one season, he returned to England where he settled down with Everton. There, he intends to make his mark, having not been used on the first day. His coach, Sean Dyche, explained his choice in a press conference.

“The hardest thing to influence in football is scoring goals. Everyone knows that, that’s why goalscorers are so expensive and in demand. Clinical players in general are very hard to find. We brought in players this summer who we think can be more effective. They’re going to get a taste of the Premier League, especially Ili and Jesper (Lindstrom), but they haven’t experienced it yet. It’s my job to give them a chance when they’re ready to play. At the moment, I think there’s still a bit of work to do and a bit of awareness to make them understand what the Premier League is.” So be patient for Ndiaye!
