Salvatore Sirigu is reportedly about to find a new home. According to Sky Italythe former Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper is reportedly set to return to Palermo. In search of a new goalkeeper to compensate for Alfred Gomis’ serious knee injury, the Italian club has reportedly made Sirigu its priority for the position.
Free of any contract after having spent six inglorious months with Karagumruk in Turkey, the 37-year-old goalkeeper would therefore be targeted by the club of his beginnings for a potential return, 13 years after his departure from the club. In Palermo, the Italian international (28 caps) would return to the club where he revealed himself, alongside a certain Edinson Cavani at the time.
