The Premier League is back! This Sunday, Chelsea welcomes Manchester City to their legendary home of Stamford Bridge for the first day of the English championship. A start synonymous with shock for the two teams determined to start off on the right foot this new Premier League season which promises to be exciting and uncertain in the Kingdom. Sixth in the final standings last season, the Blues will also try to shine in front of their home crowd for Enzo Maresca’s official debut on the bench. Finally, Pep Guardiola’s men will also be keen to make an impression in order to justify their status as reigning English champions, while riding the wave of their victory in the Community Shield last week against Manchester United. This game will be available to follow live with live commentary on the French Football Weekly website from 5:30 p.m.

For this first outing in the Premier League, Enzo Maresca has implemented a 4-3-3 system. Sanchez lined up in goal, the defense will be composed of Gusto, Fofana, Colwill and Cucurella, while the midfield will be animated by Caicedo, Lavia and Fernández. Finally, the attack will be led by Jackson, supported by Nkunku and Palmer. On the Manchester City side, Pep Guardiola is fielding a team close to last season. Colwill, Dias, Akanji and Gvardiol will try to oppose the opposing attacks, while De Bruyne, Kovacic and B.Silva will be responsible for linking the defense and the attack. An offensive sector that will be composed of Savinho, Doku and Haaland.
