In Spain, too, the war on illegal streaming has been declared. Javier Tebas, the president of La Liga, has warned users of pirate sites to watch the Spanish championship about potential legal sanctions. The 62-year-old announced that internet providers in Spain could reveal the identity of people using these sites and that they would be prosecuted for “piracy”. Threats that do not seem to scare Fermín López, who himself seems to be a consumer of these illegal streaming platforms.

The Barça star, not yet back with the group, wanted to show his support to his teammates who were traveling to Valencia, this Saturday evening (2-1 victory). The Olympic champion therefore took a photo of the match on his screen, except that the logo of an illegal streaming site was visible on the story of the Barcelona player. The native of El Campillo realized his mistake and subsequently deleted his publication, but there is no doubt that teeth must have been gnashed at the headquarters of La Liga.
