Real Madrid and Atalanta Bergamo face each other this Wednesday evening for the UEFA Super Cup (kick-off at 9pm). Here is the expected line-up for Real.

All eyes will be on Warsaw this Wednesday evening, where the real Madrid and his Galacticos will challenge Atalanta Bergamo for the UEFA Super Cup final. A first trophy not to be overlooked in the marathon that awaits Real this season.

The biggest curiosity will obviously concern Kylian Mbappé. The captain of the French team is one of the 6 players who are making their return to the group, alongside his compatriots Aurélien Tchouaméni and Ferland Mendy, but also Jude Bellingham, Dani Carvajal and Federico Valverde.
Eduardo Camavinga is on the sidelines.

Ancelotti ready to change system?

While Kylian Mbappé’s starting line-up is not in doubt, the surprise could come from the system used by Carlo Ancelotti. A fan of a 4-4-2 diamond last season, will the Italian keep this formula to integrate Mbappé into his attacking animation?

Before the match, some Spanish media outlets were suggesting an ultra-offensive 4-3-3 formation, with the highly effective Jude Bellingham moving back to midfield to make way for a Vinicius-Mbappé-Rodrygo trio. To be continued…

The expected line-up for Real Madrid : Courtois, Carvajal, Militao, Rüdiger, Mendy – Tchouaméni, Bellingham, Valverde – Vinicius, Mbappé, Rodrygo.
