Los Blancos are back in Spain after their pre-season tour of the United States as they prepare for the opening weeks of the 2024/25 La Liga season. The club intend to ease him into the new campaign, with a mix of starts and substitutes until September, which could include a role on the bench in the final in Warsaw.

According to the latest information from Marca, Bellingham was included in the non-starting XI in the final training session before leaving for Poland, which could indicate Ancelotti’s plans.
The Italian has yet to decide on his starting XI, but players with more training and pre-season games under their belts present less risk, and retaining Bellingham is seen as a necessity.
