Several big names could arrive at the Santiago Bernabeu before the start of the 2025-26 season, and one area that will need to be looked at is at right-back.
Dani Carvajal (32) and Lucas Vazquez (33) are not getting any younger and will need to be replaced. However, there is no obvious long-term successor for either player currently at the club, so a signing or two will need to be made.
Real thinks of Dalot
Real Madrid have already spoken with Trent Alexander-Arnold’s agent, as he considers him a serious candidate to be their long-term starter at Real Madrid. However, this transfer would only happen if he does not sign a new contract at Liverpool.
Another player Real Madrid seem to have their eye on in the Premier League is Diogo Dalot. According to GiveMeSport, a move for the Manchester United defender is being considered for next summer.
Dalot is coming off an impressive season at Old Trafford. He will be 26 in 2025, so he is not the youngest player, but he could be more than enough for Real Madrid for many years to come, if they decide to sign him.
