Antoine Griezmann loved these 2024 Paris Olympics. Although absent, the Atlético de Madrid striker was one of the French figures of these Olympic Games. On his social networks or in the halls that hosted the events, the Frenchman was omnipresent during this fortnight. This Sunday evening, however, it was time to say goodbye to these Games that will have marked the French.

“Wow, it was MAGNIFICENT. We were treated to 64 #AlerteMedaille, a RECORD. I want to thank all of our French athletes, you thrilled us and you flew the flag for France. Special mention to the organizers, law enforcement, security, the magnificent public, commentators… and the volunteers, you were the best. Without you, nothing would have been possible. Bravo, Oh yes… of course the #AlerteMedaille will be there for the Paralympic Games.”wrote the French international (135 caps, 44 goals) on his X account. Not present in Thierry Henry’s list to play in these Olympic Games with the Bleuets, Antoine Griezmann will have participated, in his own way.
