Manchester United and PSG are still in negotiations for midfielder Manuel Ugarte. However, Parisian officials are inflexible regarding the sum requested for a transfer.
Ugarte does not despair
According to Sky Sports, a deal is still likely to be reached, with the Uruguay international keen on joining United and his agent Jorge Mendes pushing for his client to head to Old Trafford.
On the other hand, Paris is asking for 80 million euros to sell the former Sporting player. United is not willing to accept such a price. However, negotiations remain open.
Ugarte has a contract with PSG that runs until 2028. Luis Enrique, the Parisian coach, does not seem to be counting on him too much for the coming campaign.
