OM version De Zerbi continues its remodeling operation. After having already attracted Mason Greenwood, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, Lilian Brassier, Ismaël Koné, Derek Cornelius, Jeffrey de Lange and Valentín Carboni in recent weeks, the Marseille club continues to study other files in parallel. Among them, that of the Argentinian world champion Geronimo Rulli, whose officialization should now not be long. Youssoufa Moukoko, for whom discussions with Dortmund are continuing, but also Elye Wahi, Eddie Nketiah, Killian Sildillia and the Norwich player, Jonathan Rowe, who forces his departure to join Marseille.

In terms of departures, Samuel Gigot, Jordan Veretout and Pau Lopez are still invited to leave, Jordan Amavi and Pape Gueye flew to other skies for free, while Jonathan Clauss, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Ismaïla Sarr, Iliman N’Diaye and Vitinha, brought in more than 60 million euros in cash. As for the latter, permanently transferred to Genoa after six months on loan last season, the theory of seeing him joined by a former OM buddy is gaining a little more momentum in recent hours…

Towards a loan with option to purchase

This Sunday, Sky Sports Italy reports that Genoa would be seriously interested in the profile of Moroccan international Amine Harit (24 caps, 1 goal), under contract until 2027 with OM. Appreciated by Roberto De Zerbi, who offered him a subscription as a starter during the pre-season (he played all of OM’s last 4 matches), Harit – also targeted by Zenit, the Russian champion – had already been tracked by the Italian club in 2019, but at the time, the transfer had not come to fruition.

Still according to Skydiscussions between Marseille and Genoa are currently underway with a view to a loan with an option to buy, which would become mandatory if certain conditions are met, in the same spirit as the operation carried out for Malinovskyi last year. The file could still accelerate once the departure of Gudmundsson is completed – highly coveted in Serie A by Fiorentina – since the Moroccan would be his direct replacement. After Strootman, Malinovskyi and Vitinha, a new player could therefore take the direct line Marseille – Genoa.
