Limited by its financial situation, FC Barcelona has made little progress in the transfer window. In two years, he has only played 27 matches with the Blues (2 goals and 1 assist).

Despite everything, the English midfielder remains a great talent and had played at the last U20 World Cup. While his progress at Chelsea has slowed down, FC Barcelona would like to take advantage of the opportunity. According to Sportthe Blaugrana club has made contact in recent weeks with Chelsea as well as the player’s agents to find out the feasibility of this file. But it will not be so simple for FC Barcelona since Chelsea would like to keep the player.
The latter is however aware that his coach Enzo Maresca does not make him a priority and the FC Barcelona opportunity would be a good option. However, the Blaugranas have slowed down this track with the good preparation of youngsters Marc Casadó (20 years old) and Marc Bernal (20 years old).
