At Paris SG, Kylian Mbappé was THE absolute star of the squad. But, within his new team Real, he is just another player. And, above all, he is not at all considered the best footballer on the planet.
The Merengue midfielder Dani Ceballos had to answer the question “Who is the best player in the world?” And he attributed this label to one of his teammates, in the person of Vinicius Jr.
Mbappé does not impress at Real
Ceballos spoke after Real Madrid’s last friendly match in the United States (against Chelsea). “Vini’s level is not new, he has had very good years. He is a player who can give you a lot, both inside and outside. The truth is that Vini’s level deserves to be praised because he has gone from less to more and today he is the best in the world,” he said.
Vinicius Jr is one of the main candidates for the Ballon d’Or. Ceballos is not the only Real employee to have put him on a pedestal, forgetting in passing the other star of the team Jude Bellingham. Coach Carlo Ancelotti had also indicated a few days ago that it is the Brazilian who deserves to succeed Lionel Messi.
