Liga: the Federation opens an investigation against Real Madrid

With Thibaut Courtois and Andriy Lunin in its squad, Real Madrid has decided to sacrifice one of its Madrid reserve goalkeepers. Lucas Cañizares (22 years old), who arrived at Real Madrid in January 2014 and was a Youth League champion in 2020, will leave his training club after 32 appearances in Real’s B team.

“The 22-year-old goalkeeper has signed for Portugal. Real Madrid CF and Sporting Clube Farense have reached an agreement for the transfer of our player Lucas Cañizares. Real Madrid wishes him and his family the best of luck in this new stage of his life.”indicates the press release of the merengue club.
