After Matvey Safonov and Joao Neves, PSG made official the signing of its third summer recruit on Friday.

PSG continues its summer transfer window. After signing Russian goalkeeper Matvey Safonov (€20 million) and Portuguese defensive midfielder Joao Neves (€60 million), the capital club made official this Friday the signing of Ecuadorian defender Willian Pacho. The 22-year-old player has signed for five seasons, until 2029, with the Red and Blue and will wear the number 51.

A “new great talent” at PSG

“I am very happy to join Paris Saint-Germain. I hope to bring my personality, show all my determination in order to win many trophies”says Willian Pacho, who is arriving from Eintracht Frankfurt, in a statement. His transfer would have cost the French champions 45 million euros, according to Fabrizio Romano.

“We are delighted to welcome Willian Pacho to the Paris Saint-Germain familyrejoices Nasser Al-Khelaïfi. Willian is a fantastic young international player – and the next big talent to join our club. We continue to build our project with an amazing, young and talented team – and above all, in a collective framework.”
