“It is clear that…”: Luis Enrique’s blunt observation on PSG

Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique has acknowledged that his team still has a long way to go to get back to their best.

Paris Saint-Germain began its summer preparation with

a draw against Sturm Graz (2-2) this Wednesday at the Wörthersee Stadion.

After taking the lead twice, Luis Enrique’s men saw the Austrians come back into the game before the end of the first half. After the match, the Spanish coach gave his analysis.

“There is still a long way to go”

“It’s the first minutes of a match against an opponent who has already started their championship, and we have a lot of players who are playing their first minutes,”
Lucho said.

“Tonight there was a bit of everything, good moments, good actions, but it is clear that there is still a long way to go to find the optimal form”he continued.

PSG expected in Leipzig this weekend

The Parisian coach expects more from his team, which will be at the Red Bull Arena this Saturday for a second friendly match against Leipzig.

“The match on Saturday? We will have the same objective, which is to grow physically, to get back into competitive habits and to be able to train with the first team players,” he added.
