The 2018 World Cup-winning French midfielder attended the UFC Fight Night event at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, where he met internet sensation Hasbulla and clicked pictures with him. He later posted the pictures on Instagram with the caption, “ No need for a caption.” In the comments section, Hasbulla responded: “It was nice to meet you.”
The 31-year-old midfielder is still part of the Bianconeri squad despite being banned for four years following a failed doping test last year. The player remains optimistic, however, having taken his case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
Pogba still optimistic
This is not the first time Hasbulla has met stars of world football. Earlier this year, he met the likes of Gianluigi Buffon, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Patrice Evra at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
Pogba has a contract with the Serie A giants until 2026, meaning that if he serves the full duration of his ban, until 2027, he is unlikely to play for Juventus again.
