Thierry Henry could succeed Didier Deschamps. Questioned by RMCPhilippe Diallo, the president of the French Football Federation, has not closed the door to this hypothesis. “Let’s not rush things. Thierry Henry, when I appointed him to this position, there were some who had doubts given what he had done previously. I had confidence in him and he is proving it.”explained the boss of French football.

Having qualified for the Olympic Games final with the Bleuets, Thierry Henry is about to take up the challenge that had been entrusted to him with flying colours. The former Gunners striker had been hired with the aim of bringing home a gold medal during these Olympic Games in Paris and if his men were to win this Friday against Spain at the Parc des Princes, his career as a coach could change. After several consecutive failures on the bench, Henry is playing for big with these Games. Would a final victory allow him to reach the head of the A team? The door is open.
