Winners of Morocco this Monday in the semi-final of the 2024 Olympic football tournament (1-2), Santiago Denia’s men have earned themselves the right to play a final match to try to win the gold medal. It will be on Friday, August 9 at 6 p.m. at the Parc des Princes, either against France or Egypt.
The match was therefore undecided for a long time. During a first period in which the statistics of the two nations were almost identical, it was still the Moroccans who knew how to best pull out the stops by taking the lead thanks to the opening score on a penalty converted by Soufiane Rahimi (1-0, 37th). Enough to go to the locker room with a small lead.

Too small, however, to prevent Spain from getting back into the game.
