Lucas Hernandez injured for several more months, Presnel Kimpembe not yet 100% fit, Milan Skriniar not particularly in Luis Enrique’s plans, and here is PSG in search of a new defender capable of playing in the left axis of the central defense. This is why many avenues are being explored, according to the usual pattern established by Luis Campos, the mastermind of the Parisian transfer window.

Earlier in the day, the name of Aymeric Laporte was thus mentioned by the Spanish press. But it is another, younger lead, which is now revealed by Sky Germany. This is Ecuadorian defender Willian Pacho, who revealed himself this season at Eintracht Frankfurt. A club that PSG knows well after the tough negotiations last summer for the transfer of Randal Kolo Muani, or the sale of Hugo Ekitike.

A big market value for Frankfurt

Sky Germany thus assures that contacts have been initiated for the transfer of the left-footed defender, aged 22. Frankfurt is ready to sell him this summer to collect a substantial transfer fee. Pacho was recruited from Royal Antwerp last summer for €9 million and signed a contract until 2028. And his good first season in the Bundesliga quickly caught the eye of European scouts.

We revealed to you last April that Liverpool had expressed their interest. Likewise, Real Madrid have slipped him into their list. “He is a versatile, left-footed defender who has all the qualities that big clubs are looking for. He is powerful, fast and has a good pass.”explains Lukas Hörster, journalist for Football Transfers. “Eintracht already consider him a high value player, and it was expected that he would potentially be sold as soon as his first season ended.”Frankfurt is currently said to be ready to sell it for a price of between €50 and €60 million.
